Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Duties

Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently to lift, move, and place materials as required on site.

Conduct daily inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.

Assist with loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas.

Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Perform basic mechanical maintenance on the telehandler as needed.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Experience

Previous experience operating a telehandler is essential.

A valid commercial driving licence is preferred, enabling operation of larger vehicles as necessary.

Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Familiarity with excavators or similar heavy machinery will be considered a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
