Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting in behalf of a leading engineering maintenance company based in Falkirk.

We require a Mechanical Technician

Essentially you will need:

* SVQ/NVQ LV3 in Mechanical discipline

* Good valve stripping and inspection knowledge

* Excellent fault diagnosis and repair experience

* Comfortable working in a workshop environment

* Comfortable undertaking necessary inhouse valve overhaul training

* Full UK driving licence

The role:

* You will be working in a busy workshop, serving the oil & gas, petrochemical & power sector

* Stripping, inspecting and re-assembling safety, isolation and control valves to spec.

* Assisting with valve overhaul and pressure testing

* Valve lapping

* Report writing

* Operating the clients' TAM system

* You will be required to work to established NORMS.

The aim will be to provide the right candidate with specific valve training to allow you to become an experienced valve technician in your own right.

Additional info:

* 37.5hrs p/wk + over time

* Some site work will be required

* Random drug and alcohol test will be required

* Full time position with an immediate start.
