Job Title: CNC Turner

Location: Poole, Dorset

Shift: Two shifts available days and Nights

Salary: £16.50 - £18 per hour Days / Nights available for around £21 per hour

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner with expertise in Fanuc setting/operating to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.

* Manufacturing precision components from various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and plastics.

* Conducting first-off inspections using precision measuring tools such as verniers, thread gauges, and micrometers.

* Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to tight tolerances.

* Managing prototype and batch production efficiently.

* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner a precision engineering environment.

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc language and ability to program from scratch.

* Experience working with CNC lathes.

* Ability to set up and reset machines multiple times per day.

* Keen attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.

* A proactive and reliable work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple machines simultaneously.

Working Hours:

* Day Shift or Night shift available

* 39-hour working week
