1 Year Supply Contract

Supply Heroes are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach / Teacher to join a wonderful Primary School in Birmingham, West Midlands. You will be responsible for delivering Sports and P.E across Early Years to Year 6 on a full-time table from 8:30am to 3:30pm. There will also be the opportunity to lead after school clubs and holiday camps throughout the school holidays where you will reimbursed for any extra hours.

This primary school has extensive grounds for Sports Coaching as well as fantastic indoor activities and resources.

In this role you will have the opportunity to coach various sports to early years and primary aged children where you will be responsible for providing quality education and guidance to young children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and minds of young children.

Duties:
– Create and implement Sports and P.E lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
– Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to promote positive health and within team sports
– Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the needs of each child
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Maintain a safe and inclusive environment in the sports hall and on the playing fields
– Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with education

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in P.E, Sports Studies or equivalent
-Level 3 Sports Apprenticeship Award
– Experience in sports coaching
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles
