What you'll be doing;

Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant and apparatus including overhead cranes, rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatic's, etc. With a good understanding of 415 motors, variable speed drives & electrical switchgear.

Report, diagnose and remedy plant defects in a timely professional manner.

Propose and develop modifications/improvements to plant/apparatus as appropriate.

Liaise with other departments.

Supervise Company and Contractor staff as appropriate.

Maintain all work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

Carry out duties associated with company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Procedures, including audits.

Undertake other duties within the scope and spirit of the job as instructed by Management.

What we're looking for;

You will be a time served Maintenance Technician with a recognised Mechanical biased Apprenticeship, who possess detailed knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques.

Previous experience gained in a continuous process industry and electrical power generation is required to be successful in this position. Manual handling knowledge is required

Possess the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

Available to be contacted, and attend site, outside of normal hours if required.

Ideally have knowledge of CMMS systems, ideally 'HxGN'.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Flexible, with a creative approach to problem-solving
