Test Automation Engineer - UiPath - Leading Investment Bank - London

My client, a leading investment bank, is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their team and lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative focused on evaluating UiPath's Test Suite for automating testing across banking applications.

This is a hands-on role involving rapid prototyping, tool evaluation, and the delivery of automated test scenarios aimed at enhancing software quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

Design and implement a test automation framework using UiPath
Develop and execute automated test scripts for financial applications
Validate software functionality, performance, and security
Review requirements and design documents for testability
Assess UiPath's integration capabilities with CI/CD tools

Skills & Experience

Required

Proven experience in IT automation projects
Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Suite
Strong programming skills in Java, VB.NET, or C#
Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps
Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred

UiPath certifications (e.g., Advanced RPA Developer or Testing Engineer)
Experience testing financial applications (Front, Middle, Back Office)
Background in capital markets or investment banking
Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Postman)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
