Head of Programmes - Defence, Air & Space

The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight, governance and delivery of designated Programmes and Projects and will have significant experience working with existing and emergent high technology products and organisations, and also have a demonstrable reputation for maintaining high value and trusted relationships with key stakeholders and clients across the Defence Air and Space sectors.

Overseeing the delivery of high-profile programmes and projects across the Defence Air & Space sector.
Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
Providing governance, oversight, and direction to ensure successful programme outcomes.
Supporting and mentoring project teams to deliver against objectives with clarity and consistency.
Partnering with leadership on workforce capability and internal development.
Ensuring compliance with business processes and quality standards.
Acting as a key ambassador, influencing stakeholders and driving collaboration across functions.
Staying up to date with new technologies and industry developments, ensuring continuous improvement.
Ongoing clear and concise communication and feedback, and setting of SMART objectives, with project teams to ensure they fully understand expectations.Required experience &Qualifications:

Significant experience (10+ years) in the Defence Air & Space sector.
Strong knowledge of Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (P3M).
Proven track record of managing client relationships at senior levels.
Experience working with emerging and advanced technologies.
Excellent communicator and natural leader, able to mentor and develop teams.What's in It for You:
