Fire Safety Manager
Location: Alexandra House, Haringey, London
Type: Permanent, Full-time (36 hours per week)
Salary: PO7 - £57,663 to £60,819 per annum

Carrington West is proud to be supporting London Borough of Haringey in their search for a skilled and experienced Fire Safety Manager to join their Technical Compliance Team.
 
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of Haringey Council's corporate property portfolio. You'll be responsible for:
·Conducting on-site fire risk assessments, inspections, and producing safety reports
·Identifying hazards and implementing robust fire safety procedures and evacuation plans
·Monitoring compliance with fire safety legislation and internal policy
·Advising on and supporting the specification, tendering, and project delivery of fire safety-related works
You'll report directly to the Technical Compliance Manager and work alongside a highly competent team including specialists in asbestos, fire safety, and compliance.
 
About You
We're seeking a confident and qualified fire safety professional with:
·A Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment
·Certification from a recognised fire safety body (e.g. IFE)
·Membership of a recognised fire safety organisation
·NEBOSH General Certificate and/or NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management
·IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent)
Ideally, you'll bring at least five years of experience in fire risk assessment across complex, high-risk premises - particularly those falling under the scope of the Building Safety Regulator & Building Safety Act 2022.
