Our client, a pioneering developer of next-generation battery technology, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the advancement of lithium-sulphur batteries, an innovative, high-energy-density solution shaping the future of energy storage.
  
The Lab Technician will:

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Synthesize and test battery materials with attention to quality control.
Design and execute experimental procedures including optimisation tasks.
Record, analyse, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Manage laboratory consumables, supplies, and stock levels.
Follow and improve standard operating procedures to ensure safe lab practices.   
The Lab Technician will have:

Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience working in a scientific laboratory setting.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
Curiosity and motivation to develop a broad range of technical skills.
