Merchandiser - 6-Month FTC | Hybrid, 2 Days in Office | Home & Fashion Retailer | Salary up to £50k + Car Allowance

An established retailer is looking for a Merchandiser to join its Buying & Merchandising team on a six-month contract. This hybrid role offers two days a week in the Bradford office and the remainder from home.

The Merchandiser will play a key role in planning and trading ranges that meet customer needs while driving sales and margin.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver product ranges in line with strategy, customer needs and commercial targets

Analyse sales, stock and margin performance to inform future decisions

Manage WSSI accuracy and stock flow to ensure the right product is available at the right time

Collaborate with Buying, QA and suppliers to optimise availability and profitability

Lead in-season trading actions, including repeats, promotions and markdown activity

Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring strong team performance

Ideal Candidate:

Established Merchandiser or Merchandise Planner from a retail or multi-channel environment

Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience using WSSI and financial tools

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work at pace

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proactive, detail-focused and commercially aware with the ability to adapt quickly to change
