Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Worker to join Cheshire East Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

*

Carry out grounds maintenance, litter picking, street cleansing, and visual play area inspections.

*

Operate and maintain equipment such as strimmers and sprayers (where trained).

*

Communicate with residents, volunteers, and council officers, representing the service with professionalism and care.

*

Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a positive working environment.

What We’re Looking For

*

Experience in grounds maintenance, cleansing, or a similar role.

*

A proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work outdoors in all weathers.

*

A full driving licence and willingness to travel across Cheshire East.
