Are you a passionate SHE Manager ready to lead with influence across a busy and ambitious construction environment? This is a stand‑out opportunity to own and develop Safety, Health & Environmental performance for a respected contractor known for strong project delivery and long‑term team engagement.

Opportunity

As SHE Manager, you will ensure that all operational activities are managed in accordance with current legislation, company policies, and procedures with a strong alignment to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 standards. You will take responsibility for protecting the organisation’s interests across health, safety, and environmental (HSE) facets, providing leadership, guidance, and expertise to colleagues at every level.

This is a role for a confident and proactive professional who can challenge the status quo constructively and bring people with them. The SHE Manager will work alongside senior leadership to improve performance, drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and integrate HSE best practice into everything the business does.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of SHE systems that support ISO Standards and legislative requirements.

• Oversee and update the SHE aspects of the company’s integrated management systems.

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and performance monitoring, ensuring corrective actions are timely and robust.

• Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and represent the business during external inspections and accreditations.

• Deliver engaging and impactful HSE communications and training to raise awareness and capability across the workforce.

• Work closely with project teams to embed consistent standards of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
