Site Construction Manager
UK-Wide Travel (Hybrid when not on-site)
£65,000–£75,000 DOE + Package
NEOS Engineering are partnered with a globally recognised engineering firm delivering cutting-edge solutions in the power generation, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. We're on the lookout for a Site Construction Manager to join their expanding team, driving the successful execution of large-scale engineering projects across the UK.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and enjoys seeing a project through from the ground up — this one's for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to timeframes and budget.
Take full ownership of site operations, managing subcontractors and ensuring high-quality workmanship at every stage.
Oversee the installation, retrofitting, and refurbishment of gas turbine auxiliary equipment.
Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, including H&S documentation and regular site inspections.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, suppliers, and internal teams — keeping communication seamless and proactive.
Conduct risk assessments and develop clear strategies to mitigate delays or issues on-site.
Manage site-based budgets and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with NEC3 & NEC4 contracts.
Maintain all required reports, from progress updates to incident logs and safety audits.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Construction Management role within power generation, gas transmission, or refining industries.
HNC/HND in Engineering, Project Management, or Operations (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Solid understanding of NEC3 & NEC4 contracts and CDM regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
Strong technical skills across fabrication, drawing interpretation, and engineering methodologies.
What We're Looking For:
A confident leader who can motivate teams and keep subcontractors in line without breaking a sweat.
Problem-solver with a knack for clear, calm decision-making — even when the heat’s on.
Strong communicator who can manage stakeholders at all levels — from boots on the ground to boardroom execs.
Flexible and willing to travel across the UK, with on-site stays as required.
What’s In It For You?
A pivotal role in a company with 50+ years of technical excellence and global reach.
Competitive salary (DOE), private medical, pension scheme, and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
Hybrid working when not on-site, plus a culture that actually supports career development and innovation.
Please apply with an up-to-date CV and feel free to include a short cover letter explaining why this role is right for you.
