Grinder / Fettler / Polisher
Location: Dorking
Hours: 40 hours per week (Double Day Shift)

Week 1: 5:45am – 1:45pm

Week 2: 2:15pm – 10:15pm
(Alternating weekly)

Salary: Up to £33,546 (depending on experience)

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with an industrial or engineering background to join a market-leading automotive company based in Dorking.

In this hands-on role, you will be working with grinding and sanding tools to prepare metal surfaces for painting. No prior experience in grinding or fettling is necessary—what we value most is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Grinding, fettling, and polishing metal components

Preparing metals using hand tools

Supporting the welding workshop

Prepping metal surfaces for paint

What We’re Looking For:

Industrial or engineering background (preferred)

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

Willing to get hands dirty and work as part of a team

Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
