IT Support Engineer (IT, Active Directory, AD, MDM, Mobile Device Management, Intune, O365, Jamf, Windows, Networking, DNS, DHCP, OS, Server, Apple, Customer Service) – Permanent – Hammersmith
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for a well know business based in the Hammersmith area. This role is onsite 5 days per week.
Location: Hammersmith (onsite 5 days per week)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the IT Support Engineer:
* Previous experience within a similar technical role
* Strong Active Directory experience
* Candidates must have strong customer service skills as there is a lot of face to face support
* Windows 7/10
* Hardware support around PC’s, Laptops, tablets and phones
* Windows Server support
* Mobile Device Management (MDM), any product would be good with a higher preference for intune or Jamf
* Apple OS is highly desirable
* Basic networking skills around DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
* Any MS Azure experience is highly desirable
Start date is ASAP for the IT Support Engineer
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:
* Being the 1st point of contact for all service requests
* Triaging and prioritising all support calls/face to face requests and escalating if needed
* Providing support to the highest level you can, the business expects first call fix with only a small amount of tickets being escalated.
* Diagnosing and resolving basic issues with Desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other hardware
* Assisting the business where needed on large scale Infrastructure projects
* Building and setting up laptops and desktops
* Identifying and troubleshooting network issues
* Providing software support and training to staff around OS, Google and Adobe software
