The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in reducing equipment breakdown duration and minimising the frequency of faults. You will carry out fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production line equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical fault finding on conveyors and pneumatic equipment—replacing components like for like as needed. Electrical fault finding using a multimeter and interpreting electrical schematics. Planned preventative maintenance to ensure long-term equipment reliability. Responding to ad hoc repair requests while on shift to minimise downtime.
