We’re now looking for dedicated and compassionate Early Help Workers to join our locality teams, providing early intervention and support to families before issues escalate.

? About the Role As an Early Help Worker, you’ll work directly with children, young people and families to identify needs, coordinate multi-agency support, and deliver interventions that make a real difference.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working in partnership with schools, health services, community organisations and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Your work will focus on ensuring families feel safe, empowered and resilient — supporting them to build their confidence and independence.

? Key Responsibilities
Act as lead professional for a caseload of children and families, coordinating early help assessments and multi-agency plans.

Deliver evidence-based interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Build strong, respectful relationships with families to support engagement and lasting change.

Promote partnership working across agencies to address needs effectively.

Maintain high standards of case recording and ensure work is delivered in line with policy and procedure.

Contribute to performance monitoring, supervision, and service development.

Support the delivery of a locality duty service and occasionally work outside normal office hours when required.

? About You We’re looking for someone who is proactive, empathetic, and committed to improving outcomes for children and families.

You’ll need:

GCSEs (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 4 qualification in a related field.

Experience delivering interventions with children, young people and families.

Experience completing assessments and developing support plans.

Strong partnership working skills with both statutory and voluntary agencies.

Ability to manage a diverse caseload, chair meetings, and make sound, evidence-based decisions.

A strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Willingness to work flexibly and undertake relevant training.
