Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Wellingborough
Start Date: ASAP
Full-Time | Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement)
Pay: £90-120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning and personal development? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Wellingborough area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

About the Role:
In this full-time, long-term position, you will be working across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to individual learners and small groups, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote student progress.

The role would suit someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping young people reach their potential. Prior experience in a school setting is ideal, but not essential - graduates and individuals considering a future in teaching are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with young people (in a school or other setting)

Be confident supporting students with a range of needs

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Be adaptable, resilient, and a strong team player

Hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
