We're looking for a talented Shovel Driver/360 Material Handler operator to work for our client in Wallsend area.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

The Role:

As the Shovel Driver/ 360 Material Handler operator you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7AM-6PM. Saturday overtime x 1.5 pay.

Key Responsibilities:

- Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Supporting general yard operations & co-operate with site management as required.
- Be aware of environmental factors and act accordingly - weather conditions, wind, noise, dust and litter
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular checks

Requirements:
- A current valid Wheeled Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator Material Handler certificate along with previous experience is essential.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
- A strong work ethic and 'can-do' attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- UK right to work

In addition, you'll need the following:
- Valid Wheeled Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator licence is essential
- An excellent communication, team work
- An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player
