We’re thrilled to be partnering with a National Distributor in the search for a Transport Planner to join their Hartlepool-based central planning team. This full-time, permanent role places you at the heart of transport operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant vehicle movements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Schedule all vehicles across allocated sites and regions

* Manage driver holiday and absence cover

* Support driver briefings and de-briefings alongside regional traffic operators

* Coordinate driver training requirements

* Ensure vehicle availability for both planned and unplanned maintenance

* Manage depot fuel stock levels

* Produce accurate operational reports

* Meet and wherever possible exceed all planning objectives

Desired Skills & Experience

* Previous Transport experience at an administrator or planning level

* Excellent time management and composure under pressure

* Proficiency with IT systems

* Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Proven resilience and ability to foster team harmony
