Senior Quantity Surveyor
I'm working with a leading Construction management company delivers multi-disciplinary construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and compliance services across commercial, industrial, and public-sector environments.
Role would suit an SQS or a Quantity Surveyor looking to progress to a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage project cost plans, estimates, and budgets
* Carry out cost analysis, forecasting, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle
* Measure, value, submit, and negotiate variations and final accounts
* Support procurement activities, including contractor and supplier selection
* Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities
* Monitor project progress and provide accurate financial reports to senior management
* Manage client relationships and support contract negotiations
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
* Complete post-project reviews and financial close-out
About the Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
* Experience in planned works, refurbishments, or maintenance services
* Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
* Knowledge of compliance-led workstreams
