We are working with a well-established furniture manufacturer in the Furncare sector who are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead and drive their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for quality and efficiency in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of supervisors and production staff
Implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high quality standards
Monitor performance metrics and reporting, taking proactive action where required
Collaborate with other departments including planning, quality, and maintenance to ensure smooth operationsCandidate Requirements:

Proven experience managing production in a manufacturing environment, ideally in furniture or related sectors
Strong leadership skills with experience of motivating teams
Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
