Has experience in SEN, SEMH, care, or youth work (or a strong interest in working in these areas)

Understands that behaviour is communication and adapts their approach accordingly

Builds trust quickly and maintains consistency for the pupils they support

Works well alongside teachers, TAs, therapists, and pastoral staff

Can manage challenging situations professionally and safely

Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

Wants a long-term role where their support really matters

Providing 1:1 support, small group support, and general classroom assistance

Helping pupils with emotional regulation, independence, routines, and engagement

Working closely with teaching staff and wider multidisciplinary teams

Making a lasting difference to pupils’ confidence, learning, and wellbeing

The role begins on a temporary contract, with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right Support Worker.

Why This Role?

Work across a range of schools and SEN settings, gaining varied experience

Supportive leadership and a collaborative, friendly staff team

Access to ongoing training and development in SEN, SEMH, and behaviour support

A role where consistency, reliability, and empathy are genuinely valued

Long-term stability with a meaningful, rewarding day-to-day impact
