A thriving and academically driven secondary school in Swindon is looking to appoint a Physics Teacher to join their established science department this September. The school is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with a strong record of results in Science and a sixth form that supports numerous students into STEM-related degrees and careers.

You will teach General Science at Key Stage 3, with a specialism in Physics at Key Stage 4. There is also scope to teach A-Level Physics (Key Stage 5) to motivated and capable sixth form students. The department benefits from excellent lab resources, a well-structured curriculum, and opportunities for practical exploration of physical principles.

The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for discovery, and the ability to motivate students to engage deeply with both theoretical and experimental science. Enrichment opportunities include the Physics Olympiad, science clubs, and STEM outreach events in the wider community.
