Are you ready to lead estimates for civil engineering projects while working with a dynamic team to secure valuable contracts? We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Senior Estimator.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead Estimations: Undertake estimates in accordance with company procedures, mentoring junior estimators for larger tenders.

* Risk Management: Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process and maintain a register of key assumptions.

* Adjudication Preparation: Prepare adjudication packs, present estimates at adjudication meetings, and monitor negotiations post-adjudication.

* Handover to Site Teams: Prepare estimating handover packs, provide ongoing support to site teams, and maintain communication regarding estimate and key assumptions.

Key Measures & Targets:

* Winning Work: Secure contracts to meet company objectives.

* Tender Submission Quality: Develop coherent and consistent tender submissions.

* Win Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of effective tender win strategies.

* Temporary Works Support: Provide support for tenders and design elements.

Person Specification:

* Essential: Engineering or commercial background, HNC or equivalent in a related Engineering qualification, experience in water and civil engineering, numerate and IT literate, Chartered, incorporated status or similar.

* Desirable: Knowledge of wastewater, rail, or tunnelling sectors, CANDY software experience.
