Mobile Electromechanical Technician
Salary: Starting at £43,000 per annum, plus company van, fuel card, and benefits
Hours: 42 hours per week (flexibility required) + participation in an on-call rotation
Location: Mobile role across Southern and Central Scotland (Glasgow & Ayr)
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Mobile Electromechanical Technician to join a Maintenance division of a large organisation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across multiple sites, ensuring the reliability and safety of key assets.

Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown work across mechanical and electrical systems.
*
Maintain and operate steam boilers and chiller units in line with OEM specifications.
*
Diagnose and repair plant faults swiftly to minimize downtime.
*
Ensure compliance with all legislative, health and safety, and environmental standards.
*
Maintain accurate records, reports, and plant documentation.
*
Participate in the on-call rota and weekend work schedule as required.
About You
Candidates with a solid electromechanical engineering background and a good understanding of pressure systems or commercial MTHW systems are also encouraged to apply.
Essential:
*
Recognised Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification.
*
Strong electromechanical experience.
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
*
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
*
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
*
Boiler Operations Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) certification.
*
Gas Safe registration for commercial installations (IGas Level 3 qualification).
*
18th Edition electrical certification and Medium Risk Confined Space training.
*
Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., risk assessment, method statement training, or Permit to Work systems).
