At GTS Transportation, we are working with a well-established logistics company to find an experienced Transport Planner to join their team. About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to handle the day-to-day planning of a 40+ vehicle fleet, including subcontracted operations. The role is central to ensuring smooth logistics operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage all fleet movements and subcontractor activities
Coordinate outbound deliveries and reloads with precision
Work closely with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams to keep operations efficient
Liaise directly with customers to handle scheduling and requirements
Tackle logistical challenges proactively and adapt to changing demands Requirements

Proven experience in transport planning and fleet management
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in transport planning software and MS Office
Comfortable in a fast-paced, office-based environment What Our Client Offers

£38-40k basic salary 
Potential over time available 
Working hours - Monday- Friday 7am- 5pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
