Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical building services on commercial and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project leadership, and the ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage mechanical projects from initial design coordination through to commissioning and handover

*

Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and plantroom equipment

*

Plan and coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and site activities

*

Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards

*

Work closely with clients, consultants, engineers, and site teams

*

Attend and lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports

*

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and internal policies

*

Manage procurement schedules and review technical submittals

*

Support testing, commissioning, and production of O&M documentation

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the commercial/industrial sector

*

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services

*

SMSTS or SSSTS

*

Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering)

*

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

*

Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

*

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence

Desirable:

*

First Aid at Work

*

Experience with clean rooms, warehouses, data centres, or large-scale plantrooms

*

Familiarity with BIM, digital drawings, and project management software
