About the Programme:
This is a unique opportunity to support the NHS New Hospital Programme (NHP) — a flagship initiative within the government’s healthcare infrastructure investment. You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing team working at the heart of one of the UK’s most ambitious transformation programmes.
As Project Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating complex schedules, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring programme integrity across multiple workstreams. From critical path analysis to change control and NEC4 compliance, your expertise will help shape the future of healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead programme updates, sequencing, and integration of subcontractor schedules
• Track progress against baseline and report on slippage, risks, and mitigation
• Manage change control processes and assess impact of delays and approvals
• Attend planning meetings and produce clear visual reports (e.g. Gantt charts)
• Ensure alignment with contractual milestones and deliverables
• Support risk management and contingency planning
• Maintain NEC4 Option E contract awareness and compliance
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced planner/scheduler on large-scale infrastructure programmes
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts and programme governance
• Excellent communicator and stakeholder influencer
• High attention to detail and organisational rigour
• Experience in NHS or public sector environments (desirable)
