? Pay Rate: Up to £26.63 per hour (Umbrella)

? About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Social Worker (Advanced) to join the Children's Services team in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. The team supports Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work, providing vital services within the local community.

? Key Responsibilities

?‍? Manage a caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court cases.

✍️ Prepare high-quality reports and assessments in line with statutory requirements.

⚖️ Attend and represent the local authority in court proceedings.

? Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children.

? Maintain accurate and timely case records using electronic systems.

✅ Essential Requirements

✔️ Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in Court and Child Protection work.

✔️ Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.

✔️ Proficiency in IT systems and case management software.

✔️ Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

✔️ Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
