We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the maintenance team at a high-volume industrial site in Doncaster, working a 4 on / 4 off (2 days / 2 nights) shift pattern.
About the Role
As a Shift Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, support, and installation of equipment and machinery in an industrial environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure production runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on plant and machinery as the Electrical Engineer on shift.
Support mechanical teams and liaise with operations to minimise downtime as a proactive Electrical Engineer.
Maintain accurate logs, job sheets, and documentation for all electrical engineering activities.
Ensure all work is carried out safely, including risk assessments and compliance with HSE standards.
Assist in projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives as a Shift Electrical Engineer.
About You
Fully qualified, apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer.
Extensive electrical experience in process, manufacturing, or industrial environments (e.g., food production, chemical processing, waste management, steel).
Strong knowledge of PLCs, inverter drives, and industrial electrical systems.
Proactive, continuous improvement-focused mindset.
Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
