About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee retrofit works on commercial projects across South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to manage on-site activities during the evening/night shift, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery of electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on commercial retrofit sites.

*

Ensure works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget.

*

Support project managers with progress reporting, site logistics, and material ordering.

*

Carry out toolbox talks, inductions, and ensure health & safety compliance.

*

Conduct inspections and testing to verify quality of installations.

*

Resolve technical issues and escalate when necessary.

*

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades on-site.

Requirements:

*

Strong background in electrical supervision within commercial retrofit environments.

*

In-depth knowledge of LV electrical systems, containment, lighting, and fire alarms.

*

Valid 18th Edition (BS7671) certification (essential).

*

SSSTS or SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card.

*

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

*

Flexibility to work evening/night shift (4 PM – 1 AM).
