Manufacturing Engineer - Initial 12 month contract

Salary: £49.35 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Bristol

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be doing:

Ensure that manufacturing processes are capable of achieving and sustaining the design definition
Promote a culture of zero defects and ensure that digital systems are developed and deployed
Right First-Time manufacturing, guaranteeing product quality and conformity
Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes
Capture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes.

Experience and skillset - Manufacturing Engineer

Professionally Qualified Engineer
Strong knowledge of machining processes (laser, grinding, milling and EDM)
Strong analytical skills
Proven track record in technical problem-solving, along with a solid understanding of Six Sigma / Lean methodologies.
Proficiency with manufacturing systems such as CAPP, MES, SAP
Knowledge of coating processes (plating, thermal spray and vapour deposition) is desirableAll successful Manufacturing Engineers will be contacted with 2 working days of application
