About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Slough on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one full year of experience in a school setting who is confident managing classrooms and supporting students in the absence of teaching staff.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and that behaviour expectations are upheld. This role is perfect for individuals looking to continue gaining classroom experience, particularly those considering a future in teaching or education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lesson material across a variety of subjects.

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.

Follow school policies and report any concerns to relevant staff.

Provide brief feedback on student progress and lesson outcomes.

Support students with general queries during lessons when appropriate.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who:

Has a minimum of one full year's experience in a UK secondary school.

Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a calm, professional manner.

Is confident working with students aged 11-16.

Has strong communication and organisational skills.

Is adaptable and comfortable covering a range of subjects.

Holds the right to work in the UK and has a valid DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
