At an exciting time in the company’s evolution, a small number of new roles have been identified and the search is underway to find suitable additions to the team.
This specific role focuses on the design and delivery of sustainable, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for energy efficiency and a track record of delivering innovative non-fossil fuel HVAC solutions in non-domestic environments.
Low Carbon HVAC Design Expertise:
* Demonstrated experience in designing systems such as heat pumps, VRF/VRV, natural ventilation, heat recovery, solar thermal, and biomass.
* Strong grasp of building physics and thermal comfort.
* Familiarity with BS standards, CIBSE Guides, Building Regulations (Part L), and low-carbon technologies.
* Proficient in tools such as Hevacomp Mechanical, IES VE, Design Builder, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
Specification & Scope Development:
* Ability to produce detailed technical specifications and project scopes tailored to sustainability goals.
Tender Management:
* Skilled in preparing and evaluating ITT documents for HVAC projects.
* Capable of assessing lifecycle costs, energy performance, and technical compliance.
Client Communication:
* Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems and sustainability benefits.
* Ability to make informed, balanced recommendations based on technical and commercial factors.
Project Oversight:
* Experience supervising HVAC installations, ensuring performance and compliance.
* Strong troubleshooting and optimisation capabilities.
* Effective project management, including cost and schedule control.
