School Librarian
Location: East London

We are seeking a passionate, organised and creative School Librarian to join our vibrant secondary school community in East London.

As our Librarian, you will be at the heart of the school, inspiring a love of reading, supporting independent learning, and ensuring our library is a welcoming, inclusive and engaging space for all students.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and develop the school library, ensuring it is well-stocked, accessible and inspiring.

Promote a reading culture across the school through engaging activities, clubs and events.

Support students and staff in accessing resources for learning and research.

Develop digital and information literacy skills in our students.

Work closely with teaching staff to enrich the curriculum.

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent organisational and communication skills.

Is enthusiastic about reading, literacy and learning.

Can build positive relationships with young people.

Has experience of working in a library or educational setting (desirable but not essential).

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
