This creative special school in Islington provides alternative education through a Performing Arts and Media curriculum alongside core subjects. Now housed in a brand new building at the heart of North London's Tech City area, facilities have been purpose built to offer a range of high specification specialist teaching spaces including a Theatre, Dance Studio, Recording Studio, Music Technology Suites, Film and Photography Studios. The role:
Planning and delivering exciting music production lessons to students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Encouraging and promoting student engagement
Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
As a Music production teacher you will need:
Experience of teaching Music, specifically music production
Knowledge of technology used
A good understanding of SEMH needs in young people
Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
A caring and professional manner
Must have legal right to work in the UK
