My client is an M&E contractor based in Partridge Green, specializing in pipe work, boiler rooms, and HVAC systems. They are a family run business seeking a talented Mechanical Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical projects, including material costs, labor, and subcontractor bids.

* Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements thoroughly.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information for bids.

* Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and other documentation to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, material costs, and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in mechanical estimating within the construction industry.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.

* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proficiency with estimating software

* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications preferred.

Benefits:
