This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced TAs looking to step up, or graduates who want to build their classroom experience before committing to teacher training. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when teachers are absent. You’ll be delivering pre-planned lessons to classes across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, managing classroom behaviour, and helping students stay focused and on task. No planning or marking is required—just confidence, professionalism, and a genuine interest in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver set lessons across a range of subjects and year groups

• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

• Offer basic guidance and support to students during lessons

• Report any incidents or concerns to relevant staff

• Ensure work is completed and classrooms are left tidy

Requirements
• Prior experience working with young people in an educational setting (school, tuition, coaching, youth work)

• Strong classroom management skills and a calm, authoritative presence

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
