Part-Time Music Teacher
(2 days per week, 0.8)

Zest Education is working with a secondary school in South London who are seeking to appoint a talented Music Teacher on a part-time basis, from September 2025. This is a two-day-per-week role (ideally Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and will be paid in line with the national teacher pay scales, Unqualified Music Teachers are also considered.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and supportive Performing Arts department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for some involvement in extracurricular music activities. The school places a strong emphasis on creativity and the arts, making this an ideal opportunity for a Music specialist who is keen to contribute to the school’s cultural life.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
