Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator to take a key role in the estimating and pre-construction process for a range of building projects. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-focused professional with a solid background in construction estimating and a passion for accurate cost planning and tender preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full estimating lifecycle, from initial enquiry to final tender submission

*

Analyse project drawings, specifications, and documentation to produce accurate cost estimates

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to gather competitive pricing and ensure robust costings

*

Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering possibilities

*

Collaborate with internal teams to align estimates with project delivery strategies

*

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of market rates, supplier information, and construction methods

*

Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role within the construction industry

*

Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations

*

Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills

*

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications

*

Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite

*

Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation abilities

*

Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
