Our client is a trusted refurbishment and maintenance contractor based in Essex, delivering high-quality services to the social housing sector. Due to a growing number of contracts, they are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team on a long-term basis.

The Role:
As an Electrician, you will carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in occupied and void social housing properties across Essex, London, and Crawley. This role requires a professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to deliver work to a high standard, often in tenants’ homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical maintenance, fault finding, testing, and repairs in social housing properties

*

Rewires, EICRs, consumer unit upgrades, and remedial works

*

Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards

*

Liaising with tenants, housing officers, and the wider maintenance team

*

Accurate completion of job reports and compliance paperwork

Requirements:

*

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*

Valid ECS card

*

Previous experience working in social housing is essential

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Strong customer service and communication skills

*

Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
