Mobile Windscreen Technician - Essex
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

A well-established and highly regarded vehicle recovery and repair business is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Windscreen Technician to join their team, covering the Essex area.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician to join a professional, customer-focused company that values expertise, reliability, and high-quality workmanship. You'll be working independently in the field with full support from an experienced team, using a fully equipped company van and modern tools.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and replacement of windscreens and other automotive glazing across a wide range of vehicles. Jobs are scheduled in advance wherever possible, with a strong emphasis on customer service, technical accuracy, and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out windscreen and body glass repairs and replacements on-site

Working to a high standard with minimal rework required

Managing daily appointments effectively and independently

Providing excellent face-to-face service with customers

Maintaining the company's reputation for quality, efficiency, and professionalism

What's On Offer:

Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000, depending on experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm) and alternate Saturdays (8am - 12pm)

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in windscreen fitting and vehicle glazing

Solid understanding of modern repair and replacement techniques

Strong time management and route planning skills

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Full UK driving licence

ADAS qualification is highly desirable

Self-motivated, organised, and committed to high standards
