TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in North Birmingham, which is looking for a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the class teacher, supporting learning activities, and helping children reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working as a KS2 Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.

First Aid training (desirable but not essential – training can be provided).

Requirements:

Must hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (Criminal Conviction Check).

Able to provide two references from UK-based employers.
