About the Setting

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking caring, committed Support Assistants to work within a specialist youth-focused provision in Greater Manchester. The setting delivers impactful programmes centred on wellbeing, personal development, education and community support for children and young people who benefit from additional guidance.

The Role: Support Assistant / Youth Support Assistant

You will:

Provide emotional, social and practical support to young people.

Assist with small-group or one-to-one sessions focused on confidence, wellbeing and personal growth.

Help maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

Build trusted relationships to help young people feel valued, heard and understood.

Support staff with the delivery of targeted programmes and activities.

Who We're Looking For

You should:

Have empathy, patience and a genuine passion for helping young people.

Be adaptable, reliable and confident working in a youth or community setting.

Be committed to inclusion, respect and restorative values.

Ideally have experience working with young people (paid or voluntary).

Be dedicated to safeguarding and supporting positive outcomes.
