Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Salary: £28,400 – £34,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Rochester, Kent
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

The Role

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team in Rochester. This is a full-time, permanent position that would suit someone with previous warehouse experience, ideally with a hands-on, proactive approach and a passion for delivering excellent service.

An interest in occasional delivery driving and customer interaction would be a bonus, as the role may involve some driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately picking and packing customer orders

*

Palletising goods for transport

*

Manual handling and lifting of products

*

Stock rotation and stock taking

*

Checking incoming deliveries against paperwork

*

Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

*

Following company health and safety procedures

*

Loading goods into vans for delivery

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment

*

Reliable, organised, and proactive work ethic

*

Strong attention to detail

*

Good problem-solving skills

*

Team player with excellent communication skills

*

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items

*

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

*

Counterbalance forklift experience (advantageous but not essential)
