Mission Planning Systems Engineer

Take ownership of mission planning systems and influence end-to-end delivery. Shape and improve solutions across multi-location teams.

Location
Bristol - hybrid - onsite 3 days a week

What you will need
• British citizen eligible for SC clearance
• Systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle
• Experience with requirements capture and configuration management
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams

Salary and rewards
£52,500 - £57,000

What you will be doing
• Develop and support mission planning systems across the full product lifecycle
• Solve complex technical challenges and support system integration
• Engage with end-users and internal stakeholders to refine solutions
• Work hands-on with operational equipment to validate designs

Your experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with mission planning principles or similar defence systems
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience using requirements tools such as DOORS
