Our client is seeking a confident and commercially minded Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE) to join their Specialist & Commercial Property team based in Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload, handling high-quality technical work, and playing a key role within a collaborative and supportive team.

The Role

You will manage a varied and technically interesting caseload including:

*

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

*

Commercial lease transactions

*

Bridging finance (commercial & residential)

*

Commercial and residential developments

*

Land transactions (development land, overage & option agreements)

*

Probate property sales (supporting Private Client & Family teams)

You will take matters from instruction through to completion and registration, working closely with clients, lenders and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

*

Managing a mixed commercial property caseload independently

*

Approving and investigating freehold and leasehold titles

*

Preparing detailed reports for clients and lenders

*

Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications

*

Signing off AML and customer due diligence

*

Working within lender instructions

*

Ensuring compliance with SRA and firm standards

*

Supporting and mentoring team assistants

About You

*

Qualified Solicitor

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience running your own property caseload

*

Strong experience in commercial property sales, purchases and leases

*

Confident handling technical and complex transactions

*

Commercially aware with excellent client care skills

*

Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office

*

Able to explain technical matters clearly to clients

You’ll be proactive, collaborative and comfortable managing a busy caseload while maintaining high service standards.
