Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Start Date: September 2025
Location: London Borough of Brent
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

HLTA role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher and providing targeted support to pupils in small groups and one-to-one settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or existing HLTA who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes across KS1 and KS2.
Provide small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupil progress.
Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining a well-organised learning environment.
Work closely with teaching staff to assess and monitor pupil progress.
Support positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, contributing to the school's inclusive and supportive ethos.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent) or be working towards it.
Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills and confidence in delivering lessons.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
