We are currently supporting our client, a leading organisation within their sector, in the recruitment of a Planner / Planning Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the heart of operational delivery, helping to plan and coordinate key activities from start to finish.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that work orders are accurately mapped and scheduled, supporting seamless operational execution. You'll liaise with a range of colleagues and customers to define requirements and translate these into clear, actionable instructions for field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and scheduling activities for operational teams using a range of systems and tools.
Monitoring work output from initiation through to completion, ensuring progress is regularly tracked and communicated.
Acting as the first point of contact for operational colleagues, assisting in resolving queries and issues as they arise.
Processing, raising, and closing traffic management requests, including footway and road closures, notices, and permits.
What we are looking for:
We would love to hear from candidates with experience in fast-paced environments where quick decision-making and adaptability are key. You should bring excellent organisational and communication skills, and enjoy working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong IT skills are essential, and a customer-focused approach is equally important. Experience in a similar planning or operational coordination role would be a distinct advantage.
